Planning the Inaugural Last Mile Retail Awards: A Night to Remember at the Sheraton Grand Nashville
Grand in downtown Nashville. Created to celebrate excellence in logistics and last-mile delivery, this milestone event brought together industry leaders for an evening of recognition, networking, and celebration—and we were thrilled to bring it all to life.
Setting the Scene
From the beginning, our goal was to create an atmosphere that felt both elegant and fresh—an elevated experience that honored the hardworking innovators in the retail logistics space while also making a strong first impression for a brand-new event. The Sheraton Grand’s beautiful downtown ballroom offered a modern, polished canvas, and our team transformed it into a warm, welcoming environment layered with texture, lighting, and personalized details.
Designing the Look
We leaned into a chic, contemporary design concept with muted neutrals, organic florals, soft candlelight, and sleek accents to balance professionalism with a celebratory feel.
Cali Roots Design absolutely nailed the floral vision, delivering sculptural, natural arrangements that softened the space and added elegance to every table.
Southern Events provided foundational rentals including velvet table cloths and black stage facade, Seale Keyworks provided the beautiful piano rental, while Dress Your Wonderland added layered styling moments with their curated boxwood backdrop pieces.
Nashville Candle Rentals added a glowing touch with flickering candlelight lining the stage, tables, and bars, creating a warm ambiance that anchored the room.
Quest Events delivered custom black velour draping that gave the ballroom a clean, cohesive backdrop and framed the stage beautifully.
Executing the Experience
Behind the scenes, our team managed every detail—from budget tracking to timeline management—to ensure a seamless experience for our client and their guests.
Encore A/V provided lighting and sound design, including custom gobo projection for branding moments and smooth transitions between presentations and entertainment.
The Undercovers, an energetic live band, kept the evening lively.
AlphaGraphics pulled together all the signage and printed materials, from custom menus and seating charts to large-format sponsor signage, ensuring a polished and cohesive brand presence throughout the event.
The Results
The result was an inspiring, high-energy evening that felt anything but “first year.” The honorees were celebrated, the sponsors impressed, and guests left feeling proud to be part of an industry that moves the world forward. It was a true honor to produce this event, and we’re already dreaming up ways to make next year’s awards even more impactful.
